does it matter if I buy replica or authentic z06 wheels ? Does one of them weigh less than the other ?

I believe the only difference is the authentics have the corvette symbol on the center cap... weight may be a difference.. i dont konw, but you can buy the center caps on ebay too.

it won't make that much of a difference, you're buying larger than stock rim size... the larger the rim the more hp it takes it to turn one rotation... if you want better speed... go for lightweight 16" racing rims with some nice rubber... unless ur going for that... dont waste your time, just buy what looks good and you can afford and put some good rubber on it.

sounds good, but it still takes more to turn it once then the stock size. And the stock rims are probably heavier then either 17" rim.
