Default Y87 Torque converter

Did the Y87 come with a higher stall torque converter?

I have been around these things for awhile and I never heard of any GM converters with higher stall. That seems like something there would be a lot of talking about. You could check the GM parts manual in the manual sub folder and look for a part number with a Y87 listing. I think you will find only one part number for V6s.

Yes I have done some googling. I cant find any claims of such. I person mentioned to me that it was possible. This is a car I bought and do not know the history. So who knows what someone has done to it.
