It all depends about what you want with your car. If you dont want to spend the money or gas on a V8 than it sure is worth it. Or if you are getting a V8 soon and you just want a little extra power out of your V6 now it can also be worth it.

I would say get a CAI & Headers & a cat back for starters. And then you can do various other bolt ons untill you get into internals. If you want some serious power out of your engine, they make a supercharger for the 3800 which goes for about $4,000 uninstalled. Install time is usally about 14 hours for a professinal.

Like Sig sai it depends on what you want out of it. To get it into the LS1 power range(around 300hp)your going to have to spend some serious money. With your basic bolt-ons, headers, cat back, cai, your looking at maybe 210-215hp(I'm guessing here) which won't improve your acceleration much and that will set you back $500-$1000. Personally, I don't think it's really worth it to mod a NAV6 unless your going to drop a lot of money into it with something like a supercharger set-up, but if you want to do basic bolt-ons thenmore power to you and you'll find plenty of help on this site.
