Default Window help

I have a 2000 camaro with power windows. The problem is that sometimes when i roll it up it stops about halfway. it is on the passenger side. But if i wait like 10 seconds it will roll up more. Could it be that i need a new motor window . Any help would be appriciated

Could be the motor or could be the mechanism needs a lube job. The motor is getting overloades and trips the circuit breaker, which eventually resets, and the window works again.

My windows on my 89 do this from time to time also, I thought it was because I was leaning on the door the first time but now that I read this post I'm thinking maybe it needs some lube...

Get a repair manual to help you along, and remove the inside door panel so that you can get to window mechanism. Lube the stuff up, and if it still acts funny, replace the window motor.

I had the exact same problem in my 2000 'maro. I had to replace the whole window motor which ran me around 150 bucks. I dont know if the lube would fix it or not, but if you can find a cheap motor and somebody to install it (if you need somebody to) without spendin too much, I would just go ahead and replace the motor. My window works like its new now.
