i am currently studying putting in a 2002 corvette motor into my 6yl body.. i am basicly doing a motor swap and i know back in the day you used to be able to hook any motor up to any transmisson and i was wondering if any1 knew if it was possible to bolt up the corvette motor to the 5spd tranny because i would like that.... any1 know anything about it?

 

It should bolt up, but it might not be strong enough to hold the vette engine for very long.

 

i dont think the bellhousing from the V6 will match the V8

 

awesome... but yea i kno i have to change bellhousing

 

the trans would probably handle a 305, but i dont know about a vette 350, that might be taking it a little far lol
