I work at a place that buys pretty much everything and resells it on ebay. So today we got a *NEW IN BOX* Hooker 16811HKR catback exhaust for a 98-02 350 LS1 camaro.

I was wondering if there was any way I could make it work for my 94 V6 3.4 or if it would be completely incompatible.

im sure with enough welding rod and a pipe bender you could make it fit. for the most part no it will not fit.

Why wouldn't it fit. I made a borla cutback from a ls1 fit my 96

 

i thought you used a bunch of welding rod and had to bend the pipe in a couple places.

 

I prolly wont do it anyway because the pipe is 3" and i remember reading on here somewhere that a pipe that big isn't very efficient. Right ? Its 3" from the cat to the muffler, then 2.5" for the tails.

 

From cat to muffler it's actually 2 3/4, but advertised as 3. The muffler is 2 1/2 then the tail pipes end with 2 1/4.

 

3 inch is overkill on a 3.4 engine.
