What hose is this?

What hose is this?
Hey guys,
Just got to work in my Camaro and a hose decided to let go. Fantastic. Sat there steaming in the parking lot for all to see. Ha! Ha! Anyway I need to repair or replace this hose to get home but I need to know which hose this is. It's not looking easy. I've got a '93 V6 3.4. The hose I'm looking at is this hose: There is a section of hose 4 inches long that connectes the water pump to some metal tubing that routes under the alternator. That hose is fine. After the metal tubing that runs under the alternator there is another hose that runs from the metal tubing down and back into another section of metal tubing that leads back towards the firewall. It is this hose that sprang a leak. The goofy part about this hose is that attaches with a hose clamp to the tubing that runs under the alternator but on the other end the hose just seems to run into the steel tubing that goes toward the firewall. I don't see a hose clamp. What gives? How do I replace this section? I've got a NAPA autoparts store nearby. What is this hose and what's the deal with the hose seemingly running straight into steel tubing. Is this steel tubing a part of the part or can the rubber hose be replaced separately? I appreciate any help.
Thanks,
Tom

RE: What hose is this?
It very well could be a heater hose but what is up with the wierd connection and how do you replace that? It doesn't look like you can just take a hose an unclamp the old one, put a new hose in there and clamp it up. The hose looks like it runs straight into steel tubing. There's no hose clamp.
