I always wondered, what gas do must of you fill up into your car? for my 00' I just use regular. Anyone use premium and see a big diffrence?

 

I'm not a 4th gen. or a v6, but i use premium...

 

reg on my 3.8

 

unless you have ignition work done use regular. it wont benifit you.

 

i use plus ??? 89.

 

Mobil premium in a 3.8

 

I use *** gass. After I eat mexican food my farts are high octane!
But when I have not had lunch I fill up with the mid grade 89

 

Not enough to notice a difference unless your running power adders/and or have a built engine...

 

I only put Mobil premium because I had the Chevy dealer put in a new transmission and 3.8 engine. Its a 12 year old car with powertrain warranty.

 

When you have a built engine that is the difference you will see. With low octane your timing will adjust to keep it from pining and to high an octane when its not needed and you don't get a compete burn. (Though I have seen advertisments for 76 fuels with complete burn technology)
