OK so this is my problem and I hope you guys can help me. When I start up my car I feel this vibration that I think is coming from the engine and I hear metal hitting metal like as if my exhaust was loose but I checked it and it was fine. But anyways, when I shift it to drive or reverse I feel like there's not enough force and it still shakes. Then after about a min or 2 it goes away. I feel like I'm losing power or something. Anyone have any ideas. Oh and I plugged it to a scanner and NO CODES show up.

 

Is the metal hitting metal coming from the engine compartment or maybe from where the engine and tranny connect? It almost sounds like your car is misfiring but that usually makes the SES light flash.

 

Its coming from the passenger side about midway and now that I think about it it might be where the tranny and engine connect

 

Loose starter bolts? Loose torque converter bolts?
