RE: valve covers
i can tell you what you need to do, i'm going to do that myselft too, i need to replace the gaskets on both side. I was reading haynes repair manual and you have to remove the intake manifold, you have to disconect the fuel rail , injectors wires, you have to loosen up the serpentine belt, move the alternater to have clearance to remove the passanger side valve cover, it seems like alot of work, i'm going to buy an intake manifold gasket before take it off, also you have to remove the throttle body, remove coolant, man its a mess, i would say alot of work.

RE: valve covers
all that work seems excessive...
why do you have to remove the throttle body and intake manifold to take off the valve covers?
I kno there are some brackets on the pass. side that you have to remove to get the valve covers off that can be a major pita
PS blink 182 FTL...haha
