Default v6 Suspension Upgrade

Hey everyone, as alot of you have seen over this winter im upgrading and moding my v6 and wanted to get some responses. A few talked about upgrading the suspension and I just wanted to start a thread about upgrading It. What ACTUALLY goes into changing the suspension, what parts do you generally need, whats the best parts in people opinions? shocks, springs? prices? also lets hear the advantages and what people saw out of changing their suspension? Thanks everyone.

Well you having a 98 Camaro so you have the upgraded front suspension. As for springs and what have you the stock ones are not bad but if you want to lower the car you will want to use lowering springs instead of cutting the stockers. The rear suspension has alot of undesirable stamped steel parts that flex too much. The Oct. issue of Camaro Performers (or the website) has a great write up on the suspension especially the rear. Also to improve the handling I would get a tower brace. These are worth their weight in gold for handling.

Look at recent posts -- this was JUST covered!

Shocks should be first, then sways, IMHO.
