is there superchargers avaliable anywere for v6's will the grand prix gtp and bonneville ones fit? seens how there both 3800 or is it not gonna work cause of the front wheel drive and rear wheel drive difference

 

I have heard it will not work without major modification.

 

There is a super charger made for the 3.8 liter series II rear wheel drive. It's going to set you back about 4k though.

 

http://www.lmperformance.com/2460/13.html that is the only one that exists, to my knowledge. The GTP superchargers will need a lot of modding but will eventually work, it's almost not worth it though.

 

The blower from the GTP won't work for several reasons. Two I've been reading about are: 1) The heads are different. L36 (your engine) has the injectors mount in the intake manifold. The L67 (GTP engine) injectors are mounted in the heads. 2) Room is an issue. I've been reading about it, and many people say there's not enough room, as it will hit the firewall.

 

simple fix.. get a torch and cut the firewall to make it work... duh

I had the same idea, and was lookin to see if it had been done before, aint seen none so far, sound theory, but the throttle body would be in the back of the engine bay, probally would have to some computer reprogramming and the wiring would be a friggin nightmare. i am just guessing though
