It is leaking... Leaking rack = bad seals that wont be fixed with new tie rods. $150 for a new rack with a lifetime warranty (which covers the inner tie rods). So that is what I am going to start with.

Yeah I have no idea where to start with my suspension probs. I think my rear axel itself may be loose and was told that by my mechanic. It shakes and "wiggles" when I hit even small bumps or simply the cracks in the street. What worries me is that when I go over a bridge on the interstate and hit the bumps right where the bridge joins the interstate, I feel a slight fishtailing and now SLOW way down. Feel like I scare the s%*t out of cars behind me! And it feels to me, too bouncy and dangerous at higher speeds. Takes the fun right out of it sometimes and I realize that I am tense and "White knuckleing". My handling sucks pretty bad in "My" v6. Will the swaybar upgrades help all of this? And how expensive and labor intense?

Swaybars will not help your issue. You need new lower control arm bushings (or new arms) and prolly panhard bar bushings (or new bar here too). If you put sways on now you are more likely going to wear the rest of the worn components even faster. Make sure everything is good before adding more buff to any suspension component. Good parts will be made bad by bad parts as well as good components can accelerate the wear on worn components.

First thing I would ask is how many miles on the car, and are they original shocks (orange de Carbon/Delphi)? This could be part of your problem -- shot shocks -- the stockers are not good at all. "Bouncy and dangerous at higher speeds" tells me you need new shocks! Start with shocks, IMHO, and then see how it is after that.

Shocks should be the first suspension mod -- on a V6 SLP Bilsteins are your best bet if you are not lowered (WS6Store has a good price). Rear shocks are an easy install in your driveway, fronts are time consuming but also doable at home.

As Massey said, you may have some worn bushings too...

The sways will be help on turns, on/off-ramps, U-Turns, cornering and lane changes... Easy install in your driveway.
