You're too far away! lol I'm on the opposite side. I almost border NC/SC/GA. (in the mountain corner)

Well sorta..I've found a mechanic who's an hour from me and makes "house calls" lol He's going to charge me $35 to diagnose it. I'd imagine if its something he can do here in my yard then I will pay him to fix it. That $35 is cheaper than the $55 to tow it at this point and then if its an expensive fix, $55 to tow it back. I just need to give him my address and then he will drive out here. I've already told him the "story" on it.

Between my son's pup getting killed and my dad going in tomorrow for defibrillator surgery, the car took a seat on the back burner. On a happy note, I went for a ride with my son in his with the "tops" off and it sure felt good!

I will keep you guys updated too. I'm anxious to see how close you were to figuring it out based on my descriptions!

Funny! And I still say you come across as a bad a$$ online in your posts but I love that. If it's not you in real life then thats ok but for me a guy who drives a camaro is a cool bad a$$.

I talked to the man who is gonna take a look tomorrow and he said he was gonna start with fuses then check out the starter. He also said that he hoped we weren't told the wrong wire to hook up to the alternator plug. He said that would burn it in half. Not exactly sure what that means but please tell me its not one of those arm and leg payments?! He hasn't mentioned ignition switch at all. He did ask me if the battery was good and wanted to be sure that the car isn't even trying to turn over but yet we had enough juice to power the lights, radio etc.

Thanks for the compliment and yes I am like this in real life. I have a few more thoughts than my mouth says... If I did I would have my @$$ kicked too many times to count. But all and all I am a nice guy with a smart @$$ sense of humor, and willing to help out where I can whenever I can.
