Simple how much torque and horsepower will these specific mods add to a 96 3.8L V6? Price at this moment is a factor $4,000 most, so please base any suggestions on the mod to get on that price.

For $4000 you MAY be able to get a used LS V8 and trade in the 3.8. The 3 8 on the Grsnd Nationsl was built for a huge turbo. But a regular 3.8 isn't. Either do the engine swap or ...I dunno man. On a late model V6 (3.6) I am supercharging mine. But the kit is $5500 plus tax and freight. Use YouTube as a resource. But I would go to your local junkyard and I bet they have 10 400hp LT1 or LS type motors. The 5.3 liter would fit in your bay. You are talking a lot of work but I think the finished product would be amazing. Really man. Check into it.
