If you get the V6 up to V8 power, the poor lil 5 speed that came with the V6 is not going to love it.

 

Man you're better off getting a z28. They have damn near the same gas mileage and tons more power! Probably only $1000 or $2000 more than a v6 too! A v6 isn't meant to go fast. It's meant to be a daily driver. The z28 is both a daily driver and a hot rod! Good luck!

I think you missed my meaning -- "the V8 is not meant to be a daily driver, except in nice weather" -- i.e. mine is sometimes a daily driver in good weather, but only the V6 comes out year-round for me...

Lead feet are highly under-rated.

 

To me a daily driver is year-round, 365 days, any and all weather...

 

oh well i think of daily driver as in 9 month driving then when winter hits i get the 4x4 out and play
