Alright i got a 2002 Camaro v6, how do i turn off the traction control? And are there any problems associated with doing this?

 

Yes, you will lose traction.

 

first auto or manual? if auto by shifting into D as oppised to [D] you will turn of tracktion control the only real issue with this other than your car not slowing you down threw turns is that its gonna burn more gas and youll screech the tires more

Traction control turns itself off when you shift out of overdrive mode ([D]) because they suspect you want more power (duh haha). Hence why your car takes off a little quicker when you shift it yourself in an auto =P
