I have a 1997 Camaro (V6, 170,000 miles, and some dents). I am looking to buy a z28 or corvette on day, but for now I would like to take this car all the way. I WANT TO PAINT IT, MAKE IT FASTER AND MAKE IT A SWEET RIDE

 

Welcome to the forums. If you want to paint the car you have 3 options. First, send the car to a body shop and pay through the nose for a restoration. Second take the car to a local college that has an Autobody class and let them do it. Or 3rd do it yourself. If you dont have the skills you could look into said college body class and learn how. OK I lied there is another method, know some one who knows how to do body work, pay them in food or beer and learn from them as you fix up your car.

Making it go faster, start wtih the way the car breathes in and out, get your PCM tuned to the new parts and see how you fair. If that is not enough for you check out the "Tom Henry" V6 Camaro.
