Default Timing cover seal 3.4

I need to replace the timing cover seal and water pump on my 95 with a 3.4 The seal has been leaking for a while now, and the water pump happens to need to be replaced as well, now at 135000 miles.
The pump seems easy enough.. Is the seal an easy fix? Any advice?
Thanks

the seal is easy too but dont just replace the water pump and gasket do the timing cover gasket as well. This is a common leak point for the the 3.4L engine and it only takes like 6 bolts and the crank pulley more to do. and whle it is out of the car you can check the timing tensioner. The front seal is also easier to do with the timing cover off the engine.

What do I need to pull the crank pulley. I've replaced water pumps, alternators etc., but never had to pull a crank pulley. What do I need and how? All wisdom welcome.

your crank pulley is actually bolted on 5 bolts around, and one in the center. your harmonic balancer needs to be pulled off. you can go to your local auto parts shop and rent the puller. those bolts on the pulley will be tough. your gonna half to wedge a long screw driver or of some sort between the flywheel and back of the block to keep the engine from wanting to turn over while you unbolt your pulley. your crank position sensor is screw in on your timing cover right behind the harmonic balancer FYI.. once you get the timing cover off, just flip it over and tap the seal out.

Well it turns out the bracket holding the ignition coils etc. had to be removed, and I believe the one on the other side holding the alternator as well. All to be able to pull the timing cover. It was to much for me, so I had the repair done. Replaced the water pump too.. Now the crank seal wont stop leaking. Its been replaced 3 times. Anyone know the fix?
