Default Thermostat Housing

Ok, so I changed my thermostat today because it had been sticking. As I was removing the thermostat housing, one of the bolts slipped free from my hand and got lost. I know there is a long one and then the short one. I want to know what size, if anyone knows, the short bolt is for the thermostat housing.

It fell down in the engine bay somewhere, so thankfully not in my cooling system. It's a 99 with the 3800. Sorry, totally forgot that part.

I might have an extra let me know if you need it. The long one is pain to find. I couldnt find it so i reused the stripped one i had for the mean time and then a year later found one at a junkyard. This is before i knew that the same 3.8 was available on most gm cars.

Thanks for the help guys. I actually ended up going to the dealership and getting the correct bolt size and ran to the parts store and got a bolt that would fit. So everything is alright now, thankfully.
