Question tail lights

will 98-02 tail lights fit 93-97 camaros?

im buyin aftermarket tail light housings and i cant find the ones i want for my year

Ah, I See.

they will physically fit, but the bulbs are different on the LS1 Style.
a quick trip to your local junkyard will have that problem solved in no time.
All you'd need is the bulb holders for the LS1 style.

Can anyone Verify this?
I'm not 100% sure, But I think This would work.

They will work, I've done it. But the bulb socket lock tabs to housing openings line up slightly differently. So with a utility knife, you need to alter the tab openings on the new housings, and/or trim one of the tabs on the sockets a little. You don't need to change your sockets.

I went from 98-02 to 93-97. It was a little more work to convert, but I think it should be easier going the other way around.

lol i just ditched the whole converting thing. i got the right lights for $86. Now all i need is a smoked 3rd brake light for $40 (after shipping which will be hard to find) and the exterior lighting in my car will be done
