Is the t5 in my car the same t5 in mustangs?
I searched and came up with nothing, I want to buy a MGW short throw shifter, but they do not advertise one for the Camaro with the t5. However, they do offer one for the t-5 in a Mustang. Will it fit my car? I have a pro 5.0 in my parents garage, I'll try that I guess, but I wanted to check here incase I was going to waste my time.

Of course! Why didn't I think of that, I LOVE the hurts style shifters, I think they match the Camaro's and Firebirds interior perfect! That's what I'll get then, thank you very much, Gorn!

That is the Hurst short throw. Remember the throw is the distance you have to move the shifter forward and back. I have seen the shorter bolt-on shifters levers that fit the older hurst designs like I have but the newer design its all one pc. If you want the new style shorter looks like you woul have to machine it yourself.
I thought about buying the shorter lever for mine but I am a big guy and with my arm resting on the console the shifter is right in my palm. I think a shorter shifter would kind of suck on long trips. I tend to keep my hand on the shifter.
