swap or not to swap

swap or not to swap
I have a 94 v6 with a performance short throw shifter, ported/polished intake, CAI, MSD ingition, Preformance clutch, High flow muffler, 10.8 wires, Performance Cams, Lifters. Thats the good side now for the bad side. I also have a worn valve guide confirmed by several mechanics, and a drain somewhere on the car that kills the battery in about 1 day if its not run for 30 mins, I have found a pulled LT1 with standard 6 speed manual trans with wiring harness, CPU, Cradle should i put the new engine in or should i get my old block rebuilt, and find the wiring problem. I know if i put the new block in i will have to get alot of other parts for the car as well raditior, fans etc. . .

RE: swap or not to swap
I'm biased since I'm really mapping out an LT1 swap...
Just do it.
Yes, you need some parts, but it all bolts in the same place the v6 stuff sits anyway.
The 3.4L eventually eats the cam away, so let's not make believe that such a repair as the engine ages will be cheap.
