alright i know most of you will hate me for asking but have you heard of any f-body's getting a 2jz swap? because where i live there is a ford probe with it and on thier website they have it in anything

I would assume it would be very expensive. I have seen te 2jzgte swap in a few cars (miata and s2000 if i remember right...) but the motors themselves are not cheap. you could make a pretty quick car for just the cost of buying that motor, let alone modifying it.

the reason i am considering this is that a new ls1 is around 8,000$ and a 2jz is around 6,000$ and they produce around the same amount of hp. but the 2jz would need some more money for the custom exhaust, driveshaft and many more i can't think of off hand.
