Supercharger Question

Looks like you've answered your own question. Newer Buick regals are fwd. That's probably why he thought that. If you think you have the ***** to fabricate effecting to make it work, go for it. But you're wasting your time trying to make a v6 faster than it already is. That's just my .02

No they are FWD. You must not know much. The engine isnt turned 90 degrees for giggles. It is turned for the transaxle to make it front wheel drive. Do a quick google search.

WOW this noob tries to one up some one who had been here for a minute and then gets his tail pwned!! I love it. Try using the search feature, some one asks this about once a month. Before you start speaking out your a$$ try and do a little research first, it will prevent foot-in-mouth problems.
Regals were RWD from 73-87, after that GM put the Regal on a FWD platform. The RWD Regals were at points in their production delivered with a factory Turbo and those were called Grand Nationals. The GNs of the mid 80's were the fastest production cars for the years they were offered.
The L67 is a supercharged 3800 Series II engine that is based on the L36 of the Camaro and FB. While this engine will bolt up to the K member and trans that is about as far as the compatability goes. After that you need to rearrange the accessory mounts to fit the engine bay, and the intake would be a few inches from the firewall.
If you want to see the L67 in a RWD car you need to look at a Holden Commodore. Oh and while that engine is in the RWD the intake would be right where the Camaro's Master cylinder is.
Has anyone put a L67 in a 4th gen... Yup... GM did it! They installed one in a 93 Firebird to test the viability of adding the L67 to the engine line up. GM did it with off the shelf parts and found that the car was too expensive to produce and also would have caused issues with maintainence due to the tight quarters of the engine bay.

GM never supercharged the RWD so if someone says Supercharged Regal I would assume the FWD also.
