Default stuck distributor in a 90 rs

hi,

im new to the forum and im a honda man, but i was wondering if i could ask yal for help. i recently picked up a 90 Rs v6 camaro and it hadent beens started in about 3 years. to start off with i had to replace a bad fuel pump on it just to get it started. the car ran good and drove fine, but my father took it out for a drive and a day after it quit starting. i traced the problem to a bad distibutor, so i went out and purchased the new part and the tools to remove the part(pain in the *** getting the bolt out). once i was ready to pull the distibutor out it wouldnt budge the housing spun and that was it, the rest of it will not move. what i was wondering was if any of yal had tips on how to get this thing out...because im stumped.

i really appreciate any help at all....i know im a "ricer"lol, but that doesnt mean i dont know what im doing. ive built 2 integras from the ground up, done swaps....and made them pretty quick for a Na 4-banger. my current peice runs with the best of them, the quickest car i was neck and neck with was a 04 Bmw M3

TIA

pull it from the rotor while twisting counterclock wise it should pop right out. if not use a rubber mallet and tap on the housing while pulling and twisting the rotor counterclock wise. Sick
