My wives camaro is a 99 with the v6. She claims to smell a burning smell. Of course I doing smell it. The true problem is, when she accelerates hard mainly when under a up hill load. It struggles for the power, and a few times encountered a miss fire on #6. Plugs? Wires? Coil?

 

Plugs and wires are always a good place to start. Any trouble codes?

 

Just the miss fire and it actually cleared itself. I have a blue tooth emulator for my car and ran it in her car. And nothing I also use torque awesome app.
