Strong Gas Smell from exhaust???

Default Strong Gas Smell from exhaust???

I have recently purchased my 94 3.4L Camaro and I always notice a strong gas smell coming from the exhaust, and I am a Newbie at working on camaro's so do any of you guys know what to do to stop the smell?

I've never had this problem, so I'm not sure but it seems to me like it would be some kind of ignition problem...

Your car is misfiring and dumping raw fuel into the exhaust. Change plugs and wires & see if gets better. Otherwise it could be a coil pack, or bad ignition module. Is the service lite lit??

Could be the map sensor as well.Made my cars oil turn to gas

Being that the service lite comes on occasionally, get the car scanned & see what it is complaining about. There are probably retained codes that could help pin down the problem.
