heres the story, 3.8l manual, when the engine is cold, it starts right up, no problem, and very little cranking at all. but then if i go somewhere after its warmed up and let it sit for a while, unless it has completely cooled down it will crank for 5-6 seconds before starting and then smell very strongly of gas/fuel. i do have a p0442 code, i think thats what it is, the evap emissions circuit malfunction er whatever. why would that affect starting??? thanks
