Hi, my battery went dead yesturday and I changed it right away and drove about an hours worth of driving that night with everything being fine. The next morning when I went to turn my car on, nothing happened, the engine didnt turn remotly, my dash lit up and when i turn the key I hear a small click but thats it.

 

Battery is dead again. Cold weather kills batteries. You might have a voltage leak somewhere too.

 

I don't think it's the batery because I tried jumping it and I got absolutly nowere, and when I turn the key the gauges and my stereo lights up fine, Also I tried putting it in nuetral and pushing it into my driveway and the wheels and the steering wheel seem to be kinda locked and wont let me push the car or turn the wheels

 

It's probably the battery. most of the Chevys have a safty that keeps the car from going to gear when the battery is dead,or real low. charge it up and check your alt.

 

Maybe its your starter.

 

The wheels locking up went away, but the car still wont start, could this have anything to do with the alarm? maybe when I was changing the batery something triggered the alarm system, I know that the alarm I have has a feature where it cuts of ignition if its thretened
