I will have to store my car for about a year, Yet another tour of the lovely middle east. Any thing I need to do to it? 96 v6 automatic, thanks .......SFC

 

Hmm. I'd clean and protect both battery terminals, fill the tank with fresh gas and add a bottle of Fuel Sta-Bil, try to get my hands on some of the moisture absorbtion pouches that can be placed in the car, wash and thoroughly wax the car, and change the oil and filter. Aside from that, it may be worth leaving the negative cable off the car for the fact that the PCM will have the battery dead by the time you get your hands back on it.
