hey guys, i recently posted a thread on off topic about how i crashed my v6 cam. if u want the story then check it out. anyways im going to have to replace the front left fender, the front bumper, and the hood. i also wanted to replace the rear right fender which got chipped up when one of my tires blew out on the freeway. so im sort of looking at an estimate of 2 gran or more. i thought that if im going to replace the hood then why not put an SS hood (which i absolutely love) on instead. i would like to know your opinions on this idea... would it look good or would i just look like a poser? im not trying to make my car look like an SS but i just really like the hood it has. would it fit? and would they have it in the mystic teal color?

 

well it would make it look like it has a v-8in it. My z28 has a regular hood and i think its gonna stay that way. People would probably want to race you more and you might get stared at by chicks more. Its all up to you dude.

 

i would say go for it. i love the look of the ss hood and spoiler. who cares if its a v6?

i like the spoiler, or wing, or whatever ya call it but not the SS hood.

 

The SS hood is nice. I can see putting the SS hood and spoiler on a Z28, but a V6... meh. If you're going to get the SS hood I would avoid getting the spoiler too, and opt for a 3 piece or leaving it stock.
