Spark plugs & wires replacement 3.8
two things stig forgot make sure to treat your new plugs with anti sease! and dont overtorque the plugs or theyll snap... if you have torque rench thats great if not finger tight plus quarter turn is the old stand by....
Ok so I did the spark plugs just like the post said to. The first night it was great, the car had alot more power than before and I was happy. I went to go to work the next day and the car was mis-firing like a Mother and I could barely make it out of 1st gear without stalling. I was told that possibly after the metal cooled down that first night, some of the plugs that were not tight enough became loose and hence the mis firing....
Any thoughts? This is my only form of transportation so I need to get it up and running ASAP.
Thanks

Just wanna post on this. Just did mine today. Took exactly 2 hours. Thats also including changing CDs in the garage stereo and dealing with a 5 and a 7 year old. Oh ya, having to reopen beers and go to the fridge was alos included. This was the first time I have done this on my car. Who ever posted that he did all of them from the top except the passanger rear, same here. I have constantly heard of how much of a P.I.T.A ths was and was expecting more of a headache than there actually was. I will add a few helpful hints.
1- REMOVE THE G.D HEAT SHEIDS FIRST. The metal things covering your manifolds. You will beable to see down between the block and manifold to see the plug.
2-Use a grease pen (yellow lumber crayon) and mark the manifold right above where the plug is. It will be eaiser to locate the hole after you remove the plug.
3-Use rubber fuel line. Slide the plug top into the hose so its tight, its eaiser to thread the plug in that way and you wont drop it.
4-On the back passanger plug. feel free to snap the head of the plug off. Its tight between the O2 sensor and block. If you have one of those palm rachets, kinds look like a quarter, its eaiser to remove that last plug.
