I just recently bought a 94 camaro with the 3.4V^. It seems to run fine other than a real bad shudder when it kicks down into the passing gear. I really dont know to describe it other than that. It runs smooth as soon as it goes back up a gear. I guess mainly on hard acceleration. Does anyone have any ideas?

 

tv cable could be out of adjustment.

 

Thats why i have satellite..may get fuzzy during storms..but thats why god invented dvd's..how about a tune up? Checked plugs and wires?

 

The 4L60E doesn't have a TV cable.
Is the shudder there based on a certain engine rpm no matter what gear it's in? Or does it do it only in a certain gear?

 

might wanna check your trans mount.if busted it will shudder badly.if you can get underneath try to lift rear of tailshaft.another way to check is open hood and have a friend stand next to car.start engine and put in gear(forward) with foot FIRMLY planted on the brake.give it gas like you are trying to take off.if rear mount is broken your friend should see the engine trying to rock forward or the rear of engine/trans lifting.but dont make a habbit of it or you'll break engine mounts.best to get under car.
