Default Shocks?

Ok, I have like a rattling noise type thing coming from my rear passenger wheel and I was wondering if anyone knows what this is or has/had same problem. Only thing I can think of is shocks. I had a friend who was looking to buy a 98+ Camaro and he test drove about 3-4 and they all had this problem so I assume it's common.

Sounds like the anti-rattle springs on the rear disk brakes are wore out or missing. Another cause might be the anti-squeal padsare gone allowing the pads to jiggle aroundin the mounting bracket. Cheap undersized brake pads are another possibility.

The noise isn't 'common' to the breed.

The shocks might not be securely connected to the body pan -- you have to check it from the inside of the car -- see a Chilton/Haynes manual... The rubber shock bushings might be worn too...
