can any one tell me about this,i have it in a 97/3.8 does this cause the car to take off in
2nd every time?how do i turn it off?

 

You may have the second gear start option. Look for a button marked SGS.

 

yeah, the SGS causes it to start in 2nd every time, as long as its on. It is made for starting on slippery or wet surfaces like icy roads and stuff.. The SGS button should be right beside your fog light button just below the air vents in the center..
