Is their any Horsepower/torque gains with the y87? Or do you just take off the line faster

Not really. You have dual outlet exhaust if I remember right, but it's the same size pipe as others. Gears and limited slip rear end are what help you with acceleration.

Gotch ya. My neighbor has a Z and says i might not get as good of gas mileage on the freeway and stuff because of the bigger gears.

It wouldn't be thatmuch ofa difference, but yes. You run a little more RPMs than I would at a given speed.

You should have 3.42 gears. Check the code on the sticker on the driver's side door. Code should read GU6. I, unfortunately do not have this package on my RS.

So GU6 is the code for the 3:42 gears? I have the GU6 code and the J65 code.No Y87 or G80 though. Although I do have the dual outlet exhaust and the P235/55R16 tires.
