How do you remove the rear view mirror? I have a replacement for my broken one but can't figure out how to get it off. Thanks.

 

There is a piece that is glued to the windshield. The mirror slides up (towards the ceiling of the car) to come off of said piece. It will be stubborn, but will come off. Also if you have the mirror with the lights in it, you will need to unplug the cord, and plug it back into the new mirror. If you would like, I can get pictures of what I'm talking about.

 

That's what I had to do at the junkyard...yank it off. But I see there's a small black nipple/button looking thing and I wasn't sure if that had anything to do with it. Thanks.

 

That's how I got mine off. There may be an easier way that I'm unaware of.
