Default Rear end/SRS question

I have a 2001 Camaro V6 3.8L and it has SGS. I was wondering if SGS is traction control? is it called NW9? the reason why I'm asking is because I need a whole new rear end and needing to know so that I get the right rear end. On my car the SGS button can be turned on and off, the switch is located right above the stereo. Please let me know if you need anymore info I can provide.

Are you sure it isn't SGS? Never seen an SRS button. If your car is an auto, it is likely SGS which is Second Gear Start.
