Rear end squeak...

Rear end squeak...
I recently got new shocks put on my '01 Camaro...
I'm not sure if it's coincidence or what, but I began noticing a decent squeak in the rear end.
I took the car back to the service place, and they said they heard the squeak as well. They put it on the rack, and couldn't locate the cause of the squeak. They took the new shocks off, put the old shocks back on, took everything out of the trunk, checked for rubbing metal, gas tank, filler stem, bushings, etc. And they still couldn't find anything. They were truly at a loss. They even called Chevy, looked for a TSB, and nothing...
Does anyone have any suggestions/ideas? It was super nice of them to spend all day looking it over without charging me for their time, and I'd really not like to take it to Chevy to pay one of their guys just for his time in trying to diagnose the problem.
TIA!
