I have a 93 v6 3.4l camaro I bought about a month ago over the weekend started getting a noise from 25 mph down as I'm decelerating I checked the fluid it was a little low bout a quarter of a quart so topped it off and still making the noise pulled the diff cover off no metal on the magnet and don't see any abnormal or uneven wear anyone have any suggestions on where to go next?

 

Are you sure it’s the rear and not the drive shaft carrier bearing? Also grab the yoke of the rear where the drive shaft bolts to it and try to move it up and down, in and out. It should have no play.
