real simple question

Default real simple question

i have a 95 3.4
if i ask the people at the muffler shop to JUST bend the pipe for my exhaust would they do it or give me some lame excuse how its against regulations or make them liable for something?
i really dont wanna pay 300-400 for exhaust pipes

They should just do it. If they don't, fine another shop.

Are you going cat-less?

they do sell bendable exhaust pipe, it has a bunch of joints in it and seems to work just fine, my cousin used it on his truck and it hasnt given him any problems, and its only like 10 dollars for 3 ft or something

no i want cat back. if anything ill replace the cat with a highflow cat but nothing really different. Just a dual outlet magnaflow and better free flowing pipes

Depends on where you are from, and just the shop in general. Back where I come from we could take a vehicle in and tell em' to cut the cat's off and run straight pipes from the headers, but I'm from a small town and we don't have any regulations.

they ought to bend it for ya. keep in mind that the bends might not be smooth mandrel bends.

thats probably the biggest problem ive come across. my friend across the street actually knows the people at a muffler shop so he can help get me a good price. anything to soften the impact on my wallet
