Default Random wire set

I have my fan on a manual switch. I was driving and it started sparking causing part of my dash to catch on fire. ( Bummer ) and it melted the wires from the switch ALL the way to the battery. After I got it home I came across this heavy gauge wire set that I have no idea what it goes to....

So if you have any ideas at all, please help.

Its a 95 3.4L

Do those possibly plug on to the heater motor? That is the only thing I can think of under the dash that could demand a wire that big or possible someone left some wires under there from a stero/amp that was removed? Hey, they make fuses to prevent that kind of stuff!

They were clean cut before they melted, so I'm wandering if the Alarm installer cut them by mistake cause my heat hasn't worked for a while.

Thanks for the information you all!
