sometimes my radio will go off and on and when that happens my windows wont work. sometimes it goes off for 10 seconds sometimes like a minute. does anybody know what could be causing this to happen? thank you very much for your repliesJim

 

mine did that too...it was time for an aftermarket upgrade anyways

 

i do not have the original radio in the car. what would make the power windows not work when that happens? thanks for your help

anyways, if it affects the windows, its not the radio. It must be some other electrical problem, srry...not the brightest at electronic ****

 

prob another relay ur car a flood car??

 

Check your grounding wire to the radio, make sure its not loose from anything, trace the ground from the window if you can find it...ground wires are always black...

 

This happened to me too, i bet you here weird click sound too. Its the body control module (BCM) its located on the passenger side under the dash right above where your feet go. Its the computer that controls various interior things in the car and the alarm if you have one. I had to buy a new one from the dealer for 200 bucks, it has too be new because it has to program itself to your specific car. Hope this helped.
