Default Quick gear ratio question..

Hey guys just joined the site. I actually own a 3rd gen but I'm looking for a new rear end for my car. I've got a buddy with a 94 3.4 v6 5spd car who's willing to sell me his. I've been looking around for info on the ratio they came with and it looks like they all came equipped with 3.23s. Is this correct? Also, any chance of it being posi? Any help greatly appreciated.

i would say u are right. odds are pretty good that its a 323 standard rear end. u could check the option codes on the car but thats not a guarantee that it hasnt been changed. GU5 is a 323 and G80 is positrac. another way to check, u turn one wheel and if the other wheel turns the same direction its a posi, if it turns the opposite direction or not at all its a standard.

in the glove box, in the center console or one of the door jams. i think latter they are in the back under some of the plastic.
