Hello everyone,

I tried searching the forums, but nothing came up.

Anyway, I have a 2002 base v6. It was very cold this morning and when I started it it made a "put-put" noise that was more rapid when accelerating. The car felt a little bit sluggish, but after driving for about 10 minutes, it went away.

Any help would be appreciated.

 

sounds like an exhaust leak of some sort. i would look at the exhaust and egr.
