Power Seat Switch 1995 Camaro
Is there a way to hot wire the motor under the seat just to get the seat to move back until I get a new switch? My seat went crazy a few days ago when I tried to adjust it back. Every time I moved the middle toggle switch backwards the seat would reverse itself (on it's own) and move forward again. Well I was fighting with it for a few tries and decided I did not want to burn out the motor and let the ghost in my machine take it all the way forward. After it settled all the way forward it would not move back again so now I am stuck kissing my steering wheel. Both of the other switches on each side of the toggle switch work fine with each of their respective functions and even the toggle switch still works up and down just not backwards. If I could just back it up a few inches even and then disconnect the orange/black power supply coming out of the floor under the seat I would be happy. Also if anyone knows a cheap site to get a switch let me know. Thanks.
haha...I'd like a pic of that
check out ebay or carparts.com
it would prob be worth the extra couple bucks just to go to napa or whatever and just buy the switch and get it done faster

Yea I know but I am a bit strapped for cash right now and we don't have any good bone yards left in Southern Illinois. I checked ebay-no luck. I'll check Napa next though and see if it's any cheaper than the OEM $60 local dealer wants. Here's a schematic below from shbox (killer site bty) if anyone can decipher from. Looks like the TAN and LT GRN wires run to the forward/back motor but I don't know how to use that combo with a hot/ground for power or whatever - sorry not very savvy with electronics.
