Default power gains from low temp thermostat?

has anyone that has a low temp thermostat noticed any power gains from the cooler engine?

Motors running lower temps will have less power because more energy will be drawn into the cylinders.

But,, Lower temp means you add more advance to the timing. So a lower temp motor can be made to be more powerful but the temp dropping by itself will cost you power and mileage.

Wishful thinking, mostly. May be useful on a drag strip when every little bit counts, where a slightly cooler intake resulting from lower engine temp may resuly in a little more power, but nothing that the butt dyno is going to notice.
Theoretically, according to the laws of thermodynamics, the perfect engine will take in air at 0 deg Kelvin, operate at infinitely high temp, require no cooling or reject any heat, have no internal friction, and exhaust at 0 deg Kelvin. However; this is not going to happen anytime soon. lol
