Default Possible electrical problem

So the other day i go to start my car, and it didn't. well i went back into my house to get something, i was in there for about 5 minuets and after i went back outside my car started up fin, but there was a ticking sound coming from my dash around where the steering wheel is, the sound did go away after a couple of minuets. Just today when i started my car it started it started making that ticking sound and for a little bit and then went away. Anybody have any idea what this could be, i was thinking it was some kind of electrical problem, but than again i don't know anything.

Check your battery terminals for corrosion or see if the connections are tight. If they are corroded clean them.

Also check to see if your terminal bolts are cross-threaded.

i dont think a battery with corrodide wires or cross threaded will make a ticking noise inside by the steering wheel i think you should check your steering column

It's more the key is on and running, and that brain is still working the telemetry. It may be morning choke working the relay is who knows. I would have to get under the car or hand me a FSM of that year car. It may be the ABS or a sub computer working the telemetry under the dash.

Bottom line, do you have a code? Does the car have a drive-ability problem? If not, it is telemetry clicking off, 11111's and 0000's is. Not to worry [at this time].
