Default popping exhaust

I have a 1994 3.4L with a K&N cold air intake and a generic flowmaster muffler..it sounds decent whenever I am idling but whenever I rev it, it pops on the way down...How would I go about stopping the popping noises?

usually popping on the deceleration means your running rich, its the unburned fuel in the exhaust igniting.

The O2 sensors are not going to stop the popping. There is better back pressure in your exhaust and it may just be that you are running rich....

Since I have put the magnaflow cat-back on my car, its pops when I rev and when I down shift to slow down. Sometimes so loud, it is as loud as a fatman's belly clap when he jumps....

if your o2 sensors are bad it would shoot you a trouble code.
